Mrs. Candlewick's Shoppe is a
unique world of color and fragrances to delight your senses and your
soul! Beautiful piano music plays in the background providing a
shopping experience to remember and one you will want to repeat. Mrs.
Candlewick's Shoppe has been in the same location on Venice Avenue in
beautiful Venice, Florida since 1974.
This fine store has been owned and operated by Beverly Seybert since
1985. She brings the latest gifts and trends to her customers by
keeping in touch with the national vendors. Mrs. Candlewick's was the
first to introduce Nomination (Italian Charm Bracelets) to customer and in the Fall of 2003 introduced Pandora
jewelry to Venice. Pandora is the top selling jewelry in Europe and now
in Venice, Florida. Our customers are from all parts of the U.S. and
Europe. These fine people are the "heart" of our business. We welcome
you as one!
We are excited to bring our customers sterling silver monogrammed
jewelry from Heartstrings. You pick out the necklace, earrings, or
pendant, select the monogram style and we have it back to you in our
store within 2-4 business days. The new copper and shell necklaces have been a big hit. You can also order a monogrammed umbrella, shower wrap, towels..even monogrammed soap. Great gift idea!!
The
lines carried in this store vary from time to time, but always consistent is
the quality of the merchandise and the fine line of candles. The candles
in the store are from the oldest to the newest candle manufacturers in
America. You will find Colonial Candles, Knorr Beeswax Candles, Bullfrog
Light Co., Trapp and of course Root Candles
from Medinah, Ohio. Bridgewater Candles provide votives and melts for
the potpourri pot users.
In
the home fragrance line we were the first to bring our customers Lampe Berger from France, and these
powerful diffusers will scent your whole house. We have a full line of
fuels for these popular, highly collectible lamps.
We
carry Swarovski Crystal in their
fine line of jewelry as well as silver crystal. The 2009 snowflake ornaments are here...they are really great this year.
We just got in a new line of jewelry. Sorrelli is the name of the company...it is spectacular for the holidays. Jewels in jewel tone colors that will match nearly any outfit.
On the way is Waxing Poetic. It has always been a big hit at my daughter's store in Atlanta and so we are bringing it into the mix here at Mrs. Candlewick's. You can see it at www.waxingpoetic.com.
In
home decor we have both Arthur Court and
Mariposa fine giftware and from time to time we bring in things that are just
new, fun and exciting. If it is a hit in Oprah's Favorite Things it is
probably already in our store or on its way. We carry Barefoot Dreams bathrobes which have been
a big seller and people keep asking when we are getting them in again.
One of our ur
newest and really fun addition to our lines is Onesole - a fun shoe with 3
different tops. You can pick your own 2 tops with any sole. The shoe
comes with a black top and then you can snap off the black and replace it with
a silk screened colorful one or one with Swarovski crystals that says Venice.

We also carry Switchflops from Lindsay Phillips....the new velcro tops for Fall are outstanding and late in the Fall we will have ballet slippers with really cute flourishes that can change at your whim. There are flowers, jewels and just fun things. You can view them at www.switchflops.com.
We
carry the largest selection of oil lamps available anywhere as well as our own
100% pure paraffin oil for their use. We call our oil "O SO PURE". It is
smokeless and odorless and wonderful to burn in our glass lamps. We carry
some novelty oil lamps, but the big selection of our oil lamps are from Firelight Glass, Wolfard Glass and Glass Dimensions.
