Mrs. Candlewick's Shoppe is a unique world of color and fragrances to delight your senses and your soul! Beautiful piano music plays in the background providing a shopping experience to remember and one you will want to repeat. Mrs. Candlewick's Shoppe has been in the same location on Venice Avenue in beautiful Venice, Florida since 1974.
The lines carried in this store vary from time to time, but always consistent is the quality of the merchandise and the fine line of candles. The candles in the store are from the oldest to the newest candle manufactures in America. You will find Beeswax Candles, WoodWick Candles and Root Candles from Medinah, Ohio.
You can also special order our handmade candles that can be made with your perfectl wedding photo, favorite pet photo or any other photo that has touched your heart.
This fine store is owned and operated by Susan Inniss. She brings the latest gifts and trends to her customers by keeping in touch with the national vendors. Mrs. Candlewick's was the first to introduce Nomination (Italian Charm Bracelets) to customer and in the Fall of 2003 introduced Pandora jewelry to Venice. We no longer carry Pandora, but enjoyed it while it was hot. We carry Sorrelli jewelry which is a "must have" for adults as well as sorority women across this country. They simply love it. They want all of it...bracelets, rings and necklaces. We now are selling the beautiful Chamilia Jewerly.
Our customers are from all parts of the U.S. and Europe. These fine people are the "heart" of our business. We welcome you as one!
In the home fragrance line we were the first to bring our customers Lampe Berger from France, and these powerful diffusers will scent your whole house. We have a full line of fuels for these popular, highly collectible lamps.
We have Simple Pleasures nightgowns, robes and pajamas. This fine company is based here in the United States, mills the fabric (cotton) here and sews the product right here in the good ole USA. Arthur Court and Mariposa fine giftware and from time to time we bring in things that are just new, fun and exciting. If it is a hit in Oprah's Favorite Things it is probably already in our store or on its way. We carry Barefoot Dreams bathrobes which have been a big seller and people keep asking when we are getting them in again. Some new products for Fall are really outstanding. A throw that folds up into a pillow is really outstanding and the new, longer sweater is wonderful.
We carry the largest selection of oil lamps available anywhere as well as our own 100% pure paraffin oil for their use. We call our oil "O SO PURE". It is smokeless and odorless and wonderful to burn in our glass lamps. We carry some novelty oil lamps, but the big selection of our oil lamps are from Firelight Glass, Wolfard Glass and Glass Dimensions.
We also carry Switchflops from Lindsay Phillips....the new velcro tops. There are flowers, jewels and just fun things.
We carry Corky's shoes all with an island flare and names to fit. Colorful, embossed leather with a style all it's own.
We are striving to have more items in our store made here in the USA and by local artisans. So far we are very pleased with our progress
